Who will be Lightning's captain for 2008-2009 season?
In fact, Tim Taylor is retire this year after had hip surgery. Brad Richards was traded to Dallas Stars on the trade deadline day earlier this year.
Lightning have only two alternate captains left such as Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis.
Vincent could be the captain for second time since 2000-2001 season.
With your opinion, who will be captain for Lightning following 2008-2009 season?

Maybe there will be no Tampa bay lightning in the 2008-2009 season. I would celebrate!! Actually I have no idea.

my guess is Lecavalier but i don't know what kind of leader he is. From what i could see Halpern was a great captain when he was in DC, but my guess is Lecavalier gets the C.

as a huge lighting fan, im goin on a limb and hoping Halpern. He deserves it. if not i agree with TBL and go Vinny, but he wants to leave. thats what i heard from the tbo website
