How often should my runt kitten eat?
Im bottle feeding him at approximately 4AM, 9 AM, 12PM, 3PM, 7PM, 12MIDNIGHT, etc. Is this an okay schedule? He's VERY small, much smaller than his adopted brother of approximately the same age..

I have a runt kitten as well, and I just fed him every 4 hours, because you dont want to over feed runts.Over the next week I would do it every 5 hours, and so on and so on until it can feed itself.
week 1-every 3 hours
2-every 4 hours
3- every 5 hours

It's a full time job. I would feed him no more than 4 hours a part and maybe every 3 hours. All newborn kittens need to be feed at least every 3 to 4 hours. Good luck.

Here is a link to information from a rescue group that knows their stuff - it's got feeding guidelines based on age. Look at the link called "feeding orphan kittens".
