Why can't people just be honest?
Every friendship and relationship I see is plagued with dishonesty. Why has lying become so commonplace? I tell people the truth, and now I have no friends. It's 12:30 and I can't sleep so I thought I would see if there's any other honest people left in the world.
(maybe the internet is not the place to be looking for honest people? haha)

I would like to ask you to do something for one week.
Look at everyone as being honest. Smile at everyone you meet; it doesn't have to be a big smile, but say good morning, or good afternoon and move on. When you buy something, say thank you to the person taking the money. If someone says have a great day, say You Also!
Look at the world as a great place to be and most people are honest and decent.
I believe you will turn your life around and your outlook.

lying is the worst slap in the face. it's like they're calling you stupid. so stupid, you'll likely buy the bull they're spewing. it's very insulting.
