Who was that from Jr.'s crew that went over to Busch and a few words with him after the race?
After the race, some big fella from Jr.'s pit crew, that Busch seemed to know personally, went over and had a few words with him. In the post race interview with Busch, he was yapping off about that guy and that he needed to keep his mouth shut or something like that. I'm not a guy that likes violence but, I would have loved to see that big guy knock the snot out of Busch with one, clean, flush punch. Snapping his head back and seeing stars. I can't stand neither Busch brother but, Kyle is dirty, always has been and always will be. Everyone watching that race knew that he took Jr. He wasn't fooling anyone.

The big fella is Rick Pigeon (Currently the jackman for the #88) who was previously the jackman for Kyle Busch and the #5 Kellogg's team. He wouldn't hit Kyle but def wanted to get his point across. He has been a long time friend of Dale Jr's and now a co-worker as well.

i'm unsure the place Kyle went. No i do no longer think of Jr. is thinking of turning right into a member of the Hendrick team. My wager is probably Kyles team felt sorry for Dale considering they took him out of the race. possibly began as a shaggy dog tale

Just get over it, its racing. Kyle is a better driver and you know it. Jr is only a big star just because of his daddy. And the truth is, if he was not an Earnhardt it wouldn't even be a story for the media. Jr was driving higher in the turns for three laps when Busch had him in sight, but by the time he was nearly around him Jr cut down the track farther than he had been before. And with the air taken off the #18 car he got loose and slide into Jr causing a wreck. Hell the commentators on TV said he got loose. Darlington will be a place for Busch to be booed and then someone else will cause JR to wreck at Darlington and it will be a new story. But just get over it dude, Kyle is just a better driver.

that guy was Rick Pigeon, currently the jackman for the #88 team. last year, he was the jackman on the #5 team of, you guessed it, Kyle Busch.
and no, you are incorrect. not "Everyone watching the race" knew that he took Jr..." i assume you mean "took Jr. out." i watched the race and have been watching every race in all three series for years now, and that's not what i saw at all.
we could argue all day about whether junior tried pinching busch down too hard because he WAS getting passed - maybe not in that corner but soon - or whether busch came in too hot and slid up a little. and after arguing all day long the facts would remain the same: as many people on and off the track have already said, it was just good hard short-track racing and this time junior came up on the short end of the stick.
read dave rodman's column on nascar.com, which mirrors busch's, junior's, bowyer's, childress', and many others opinions:
http://www.nascar.com/2008/news/opinion/05/04/dear...
all these arguments that junior "deserved" the win and busch took it away from him - just because junior hadn't won in two years - or that either one of them should have backed off and given the other room are just crap. neither one of them showed up so that the other guy could win. once hamlin was out of it, it was pedal to the metal and both racers have said that they didn't think anyone did it intentionally.
and if either of them gave anything less than 110% like they did - even if it did involve "aggressive" driving - then that would been the greatest disservice to racing, both to each other as racers and to the fans. i'm sure dale senior himself was watching from somewhere beyond the grave loving the battle between the two. if only they could have straightened themselves and run to the finish - that would have made a RACE!!! instead, clint bowyer makes a supposedly "slick move" inside of two out-of-control drivers and makes the finish about as exciting as his personality.
as for that "guy who punched kurt" - that was jimmy spencer (yes, the guy on speed's "raceday" program), who was pissed for being a "has been, or never was." he got back exactly what he gave to everyone else, then couldn't take it. so he sucker-punched kurt while kurt was still in the car (he had run out of gas heading into the garage, supposedly) and broke his nose. not that he wouldn't have been able to whoop kurt's a$$ even if he was out of the car, but still, cheap shot from a cheap guy.

Absolutely correct! Wouldn't have been much of a fight, though.

I third that motion, like the time the car driver for target car, punched Kurt in the nose and broke it...

I couldn't have said it better myself. I don't remember the guys name, but it would have been nice to see that arrogant @$$ get his lights knocked out. LOL!

kyle is arrogant but if any of you were actually paying attention or knew anything you would have seen they were both racing hard and kyle just got loose under jr and it was just a racing accident!!
