What breed does this dog look like?

Apparently, it's a cross of two different breeds. The owners pay $1600 NZD for it.

What sort of dog do you think it looks likes?

Thanks.

Update:

Me!!!- That's exactly what I said.

Update 2:

It isn't my dog. It's my boyfriend's cousins. They were told what breed it was but in my opinion I don't think it looks remotely like either.

Update 3:

Yes Gussie- that is what it is MEANT to be. I don't see it though. Honestly I think they've been ripped off!

She was more right than you think. The Toy FoxTerrier was created by breeding the Smooth Fox Terrier with Chihuahuas, Miniature Pinscher and Italian Greyhounds. Of course after putting all these breeds in the mix, the initial breeders kept at it long enough to 'fix type' and thereby created a new breed, something the hybrid people are NOT doing. But still, look at any purebred and if you look back far enough you'll find mutts. Because breeds originate from mixing other breeds or extreme selective breeding within a parent breed you will ALWAYS have situations where to the untrained eye breed X will be mistaken for breed Y. And sometimes this applies to the trained eye as well. Who by sight alone can tell the difference between a Toy Manchester Terrier and a Miniature Pinscher? Even expert dog judges struggle with this! (especially with examples that don't conform well to breed standards)

I think he is adorable. Is a "bundle of love" a breed? He does look like a Pomeranian but do they come in black? How about a Pomeranian husky mix.Just curious, is the dog that was supposed to be a Jack Russell and Bichon Frisse because I just don't see it?

Source(s): EDIT I didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag but I had trouble believing it was the same dog.Whatever he is, he is a beautiful dog Do you think the parents of this puppy were also mixed since that might account for the dogs look. .As for the amount of dollars they paid for it , as long as the owner is happy, to them it was worth it.

It looks a bit like a Husky at first glance.

It's a baby, notice the Blue eyes, and the lack of camera flash in them.

Looks like a Pomeranian or a Spitz puppy. How old is it?

I think it looks like a Pomeranian mixed with husky. And it also could be a black lab.
