Do you think there could be other medical conditions to necessitate terminating a pregnancy?

Do you think that abortion should be private choice between a patient and a doctor. Do you think that you should control others medical decisions?

Both my mom and I had to have abortions since our fetuses died and wouldn't spontaneously abort (I found out if it happened to your parent, you're more likely to have the same medical problem). If abortion was illegal, either one of us could have gotten an infection or continued bleeding, or had other medical complications. I think abortion should be a private choice between patient and doctor, you never know what types of medical complications can occur for a pregnant woman.

Do you think that abortion should be private choice between a patient and a doctor?

Absolutely. We must not allow these decisions to be made by either outside individuals or groups 'with a cause'. It is a choice even outside the doctor, it belongs only to the patient, in consultation with the physician.

Do you think that you should control others medical decisions?

Medical decisions belong solely to the patient, it is their wellbeing and their life.

I never wanted children and married too late for it to be a viable choice, but if I ever had become pregnant, I would have undergone extensive testing to see if my baby was carrying a particular medical condition. If the answer had come back positive, I would have had an abortion because I couldn't raise a child with that terrible condition. But I wouldn't condemn anyone else for making a different choice.

Yes, there are other medical conditions that could necessitate terminating a pregnancy, and it is a very private decision.

Termination isn't a call this is made gently and is maximum incredibly to no longer be used as a answer to a mistake. If there is an underlying medical condition this is making being pregnant complicated then seek for help and suggestion from each and every of the pros, they are going to be non judgemental. it is an exceedingly own decision that for the duration of common terms could be made via the mothers and dads of the child. good success

There are many medical conditions necessitating the termination of a pregnancy. Depression is a recognized medical condition which is exacerbated by stress. This belongs in the area of doctor-patient confidentiality, its nobody else's business.

I know after 13 years of marriage and my mom got pregnant with me my parents considered it. Not because they didn't want me but because my mom had been suffering from clinical depression for about 5 years. They worried not only for my mothers health, because she would have to go off her anti-depressants, but how the potential life of their child, me, would turn out with a mother suffering from depression. Ultimately they decided that terminating the pregnancy would cause more strain on my mom's health than going off her meds for 9 months would. This is one, technically non0life threatening or non-terminal medical condition, that I would consider to be an acceptable reason for considering terminating a pregnancy. I am very proud that my parents had the right to make this choice, and I support anyone who has to make a decision like this based on their medical/emotional/finacial needs.

Yes, anti-natal depression is one reason.

When a pregnant woman becomes suicidal and both lives are at risk.

Have personally experienced this. But decided to tough it out and was on medication for rest of pregnancy and afterwards. Baby was fine.

Master B - it was doctors that recommended the legalisation of abortion because they were horrified to see so many women dying from illegal abortions. When asked now, doctors are still in favour of abortions and in favour of maintaining the current time limits - not exactly making someone else be involved against their will :-)

abortion should be a private choice between the woman and her doctor. IT IS THE WOMANS RIGHT TO CHOSE! the government and anti choicers need to mind their own business.

Could. Often a young person is not capable of a decision.
