Do intolerant people make you sick?

I have a very difficult time with intolerant people. I work with a woman who hates all kinds of people (gays, other races, people of different religions, etc.). I confronted her one day about a comment she made about an apparently gay man who comes into our office a couple of times a month. I said her comments were not very nice and she totally went off on ME - telling me that she hates "Those people" 100% and will say what she pleases.

I do my best to be respectful of her even though I reject her views 100% (!) I realize she grew up in a much different era than I and that her religion is one that is very confining and intolerant. However, it's like having my very own little old lady Klan grand dragon here at work, every day.

I can't stand intolerant people. They suck. I say we off em all. They are reprehensible. They are intolerable!!

I agree, i just can't tolerate them, they really get on my nerves.
