because unlike Microsoft, Apple knows how to release a new operating system that actually works and is not a bloated piece of crap (vista). Apple users are far more intelligent wen it comes to computers, and yes most of them do in fact know how to downgrade a operating system.

Vista may look pretty but that's all it has going for it really.
It will slow down your machine, it still has driver and hardware issues, and offers nothing in terms of functionality or security that isn't already in XP.
OS X, meanwhile, isn't going backwards. The newer versions of OS X are much smaller - more like going from XP to XP SP1, or SP2, etc.
