Scared cat?
Okay, my cat is propbably the most scardest cat in the world! He is scared of plants when they move from the wind. A week ago at night when my cat was in the garage alone he and I heard a cat fight that was right by the closed garage door. Since then he has been scared of being the garage. I was giving him a walk and he tries to stall time so he won't have to walk in the garage! I have to drag him to the garage now! How do I help my cat overcome his fears? This is too much. My cat is very cautious and is an American Shorthair. Please help!
Ooh yes and he is neutered and does not like to be in cat fights. He is an outside cat and has a lot of cat friends! Putting my cat inside is not an option. Thanx!
I want to know what to do with my cat. I personally think it is best that my cat is outdoors because he likes it. My cat would not stand being inside.

It's wrong to force a cat to do anything. It will not solve the problem as you are seeing. I don't know what to tell you. I refuse to let my cats be outdoors at all. There are just too many dangers. I don't want to deal with the vet bills. I love them too much. They have plenty of stuff to keep them entertained.
