Scions look like toasters and should never be driven.

If you want to make sure your car stays reliable and doens't void the warranty, get the supercharger put in from the factory. TDR has a supercharger for the Scion, but not a turbo.

Chris L ^ pretty much has the whole thing wrapped up in a nutshell. only thing he missed is for that "cool pssshh" sound you need to buy a BOV(blow off valve) they run from 80-200 dollars and arent included in most kits. In your scenario though like he said I would recommend a Turbonetics kit. awesome customer service and 12 month warranty and designed for stock parts. Also I agree with him, Turbo>Supercharger for tc -Alex RSeries 4.0 (#1723)

You should get a supercharger for your Scion tC.

A turbo has lag for when the boost kicks in where as the supercharger doesn't.

I like turbos better because when they start boosting (usually around 3000 RPM, it throws you back hard.

well it depends on what you want

supercharger keeps you in your warranty

turbo gives you more power but ALOT of trouble with cops

i would keep the supercharger until the warranty is over then get the turbo

I'll go with "wildone" on this question. Just get the stock supercharger and you should be fine, you'll be able to keep your warranty and be set to go. As for Sarahs response, it's the TC, not the rolling boxes.

Turbocharger. Turbo's give more power and work better on 4 cylinder engines.

You can get Garret, HPA, or turbokinetics. These are popular companies.

Depends. What's more important to you: Keeping your warranty intact (TRD S/C) or making as much horsepower as possible (turbo kit).
