GTA:IV - Safe Place To Store Cars?
Anyone know of a safe place to keep cars in GTA:IV? I've placed them in the reserved parking area outside a safe house, like I am supposed to. But sometime a taxi or other car knocks them out of the space and they disappear. So far I have lost the Comet that I won in my first race, and the Ferrari that Bertie gave me. It's really annoying.

apparently outside the safe house is the only place to keep your car "safe" until the next time you load the game.
this happened to me and to resolve this i parked the car 1/4 on the pavement so the taxi has a less chance of hitting it.
hope this helps
good luck

Sorry yellow box is the only place
when u have some nice cars make a save in say...slot 2
now continue your gameplay in slot 1 and you know your cars will always be in slot 2 if u ever fancy a high speed free roam

Sure it's safe, as long as the tires are in pairs, it shouldn't make any difference if is front or rear drive as far as safety is concerned. Most people will prefer the new tires be on the driving wheels, for the sake of good traction. (pssst) look at the only answer without the thumbs down, tell you something?

if u dont park right next to the road then yeah it wont happen. i hate when taxis do that too. wen i hail them near my parking. they hit it out and i shoot the taxi and they floor it and run me over when split my limbs off

I'm not even that far in it, and haven't got any great cars yet, but what I can't stand is that when you die or whatever and you have a great car and then you restart you lose it, grr!
