Paypal help please?

Ok, havent use paypal in years and I just opened an account. I have made a couple of ebay purchases and they have gone thru ok. However, the type of payment withdrawal that paypal is using from my account is an e-check. It takes several days for this to hit my bank and then be credited to the seller.

My question is....is there a faster way for paypal to take money from my account and pay the seller. What if I sign up my debit card with paypal? Will this let them access my confirmed account faster? I dont know why they couldnt since I use my debit card all the time for instant purchases.

Or is there another way? Please let me know. I want the sellers on ebay to get their money as quick as possible.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't like paypal. I feel it is dangerous because i don't see them and i don't know what the heck they do afterwards to my account. Paypal is a company that some businesses set up an account where these businesses have their customers to set up account with them so that they will pay online. Ask your merchandiser how to pay on line - they will lead you to this website. Good luck.

Link it directly WITH your checking account through your debit card, and it is almost instantaneous. I don't take e-check from PayPal buyers because it takes three days to clear. You can set it up to debit directly from your debit card/bank account. Make sure the name on your card matches your name, make sure the addresses match, and make sure you type in your routing number correctly--I typed in my middle name and my card uses my initials--it took me two weeks to clear that up.
