I don't like going to the doctor/hospital but my sister wants me to go, help?
I have recently had high blood pressure, (on meds for it), and I hate to be one that is constantly complaining. I don't really like to worry my family or trouble the doctors and nurses so I was wondering if anyone else has had this happened to them. When I wroke up this am at 5:30, half my rt hand and up my arm have been tingling and like its asleep, a little pain in arm and shoulder, but I'm still typing so I see this as a good sign. My sister points out that 5 hrs is to long for this to be going on, plus, she remined me of the two TIAs I've had in the past 10 years. I feel like a sissy, so, do I need to wait and call 911 if it gets worse or wait till Monday and call my doctor?
What's your opinion, yeah, I want to know.

TIAs are serious and what you're describing could be related.
You know the answer.
Call your doctor now. Preferrably on a cellphone so he can call you back as you head for the hospital.
It's unpleasant to go and can be a waste of time. But this is what hospital visits are for. I listened to a woman say, but I only have 104* temp that won't go down with asprin on a Sat...I'll wait til monday...I don't want to bother the doctors. But by Mon it would have been serious (it was organ infection). I jokingly said, if you had a broken bone you'd say, "but I can wait".
It feels imposing. Get over it :-)!!!!!! It's you're life. Imagine how it will feel to your sister if it's serious and she couldn't talk you into going?

I don't think it has anything to do with the high blood pressure since you are taking medicine to control it. If your arm is somewhat tingly and you have no other symptoms then you probably can wait until Monday and be seen by your family doctor. f you experience chest pains, shortness of breath or the pain radiates to your shoulders back it could be the signs of a heart attack. One thing with women (and you didn't mention your age) is that the signs of a heart attack can be very different and sometimes very suttle. Good Luck.

Lady, you're thinking of all the wrong things. your 'troubling the doctors' is what brings them that big fat pay check, them and all those insurance people, nurses, stuff, etc. Your family (at least, your sister) is already way worried because you aren't going to the hospital. and the bulletin board does not have, for the most part, the sort of expertise you need. Why don't you call your doctor and ask this? (Yes, you can call your doctor even on Saturday - most doctors have some provision that calls be forwarded to them).
