I pulled a tick off me...help!?
So i pulled a tick off of me about a week and a half ago. but since then at the site of the bite, its gotten red and little scattered bumps have appeared. i got the head of the tick out, and it was dead when i got it off. could it be lyme disease or something? im probably going to go to thedoctor this week, but i'd like some help.

are you sure you've gotten evry part of the tick out? Teeth and all? If not it could be infected.

that doesn't quite sound liek lyme disease, but the doctor would be best. if you're really worried, check out a medic site.. like med.com or something, or if you are REALLY REALLY worried, go to the ER if your appointment isn't for a while... just be prepared to wait since it doesn't sound too ergent...
if it is lyme disease, i'm really sorry, but the good news is it's treatable... good luck :)(:
