Could you please recommend me a video player software for Windows Vista, an alternative to BSPlayer or GOMPlayer (they don't seem to work very good on Vista). Thanks a lot for your answers.

I am surprised, that you mention Gomplayer not working well under vista. I recommended Gomplayer many times.

Perhaps is this a different version then you had installed.

I often use VLC Player. It's a good software. You can download it from here:
KM Player is also good. It also plays a large variety of file formats.
