Now, a more useful answer. Almost every college in the US is teaching online these days - your choices are many. Many offer entire degrees online while others offer portions of the degree online.

Cost will vary online as much as it does in traditional classes and can be conditional on geography. Your state schools will likely be the least cost.

Greatest acceptance of an online degree comes the same way as acceptance of a classroom degree. It's all about the reputation of the college and not about online vs classroom.

UMass (for example) teaches whole degrees online. You rarely hear anyone challenge the status of UMass as not legit. Same with UTex, UFlorida, Florida State, and tons more.

UPhoenix, AIU, Florida Met., DeVry, etc... also teach whole degrees online (and in the classroom). We often hear disparaging comments about the quality of these.

If we know that the above two statements (about who teaches online) is true, and accept the observation that some are more respected than others (online or classroom); then we can conclude that it's not all about whether the degree is delivered online, classroom, or combination - it's all about whether the college is repected.

When someone says "UoP Sux" they don't distinguish between UoP online and UoP classroom -- it's just UoP.
