Why do the majority of African Americans vote Democratic?

I am tired of answering this one. In 1948, Hubert Humphrey gave a civil rights speech before the DNC convention. It was adopted as part of the party platform. Southern Democrats bolted the party and ran a Dixiecrat candidate, Strom Thurman. The Republican Party took in Strom Thurman, Jesse Helms and the rest of the Dixiecrat's with open arms. They made the decision to oppose black people legitimate rights. it continues to this day. Jesse Helms and old Dixiecrat, turned Republican, led the fight against the Martin Luther King Holiday . McCain voted the party line lead by the racist Jesse Helms.

Gonna, go with ziggy on this one as well. Sh*t I see this every day complaining my store won't take their EBT card, but they're driving an Escalade or Navagator. Meanwhile they spend the money they do have on lottery tickets, cheap malt liquor, and cigars to roll their weed in.
