Yes, you can get off the treadmill, either because you (generic) have finished what you set out to achieve or because you failed and just gave up. You choose to come back here because you chose to come here in the first place to experience/learn about and from living.

Yeah, some think it's silly. I have past life memories, including speaking a south american tongue when I was learning to talk. I know reincarnation is real. Even when I was a xian I knew. We're caught in a loop. Ascension gets you off the loop.

I guess I don't see enough evidence to believe in Reincarnation. Why is the worlds population increasing? If we just reincarnate wouldn't it be decreasing providing that some people finally purify themselves enough to get out?

you can get off the treadmill any time you like, but the only way to advance is to keep coming back to this dreadful place to learn more crap. i think that when we're in heaven we forget about how hard physical life is so we pick a load full. we're so eager to learn and progress that we keep coming back for more.

    1) yes If it is a real treadmill

    *visualizes slap-stick type dismount*

    2) I'm a sucker for punishment.

edit: I'd sooner believe in cellular memory than reincarnation tho

I'm a Christian, but though I have problems, etc., I still love being able to wake up each day to another challenge, experience, whatever faces me that day; anything to prove, "Hey, I'm alive!"

But anyway, no, I don't believe in reincarnation.

there's only two places that believers can go! I am atheist so my free spirit can go wherever I choose.

"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,"

    Hebrews 9:27

There is no reincarnation. After death there is only our judgment before God

  • Nirvana. Who said you have to want to?

@ carrie: LOL. Its funny how religions (christians) can come up with these silly theories. Like heaven.
