Why do people insist we do not love God if we do not forward religious e-mails?

I am christian and I'm pretty positive that God will not judge me on an e-mail. Just was wondering what others think?

I to am a Christian and I truly believe God will love you no

matter what you do-answer the religious

questions or not. You are right. God will not judge you on

email, but remember that he is always watching everyone

actions and if there actions spread His word I am sure that

gives Him glory. There is nothing I want to do more than to

    glorify God. Do you agree?

You know, I wonder the same thing.

I just delete them if I see "FW" in the subject line. I don't even look at them. Most people will get the hint when you don't forward them back (most of them say 'send this back to me too') Unfortunately some don't. Just keep hitting the delete button without even looking at the content.

I have a relative that insists on continuing to do this. She's even asked, "So did you get that email I forwarded you?" It's the perfect opportunity to tell her no, I don't even open forwarded stuff. She still doesn't quite get it, but the load has greatly decreased.

Of course God does not judge you based on forwarded emails.lol. I'm sure He's annoyed by most of them too. ;)

If you believe (as a theist) then every thought and action you do is known by God.

Which means that you have a fatalistic outlook on your existence and you will be judged.

Good deeds do not obviate bad ones. Unless you are a Catholic and then can pray for forgiveness.

It is the same as those chain letters that went around years ago. You receive a letter and had to forward six or ten copies to others or you would have bad luck or actions in the future. It is all codswallop unless your stupid enough to believe it.

I'm not sure but if not forwarding e-mails means I don't love God then I am even MORE certain of a place in hell than I was before.

I get lots of mail asking me to forward it to everyone on my mailing list. As a Christian, I don't believe in participating in chain mail so I never forward any of them. I never forward any of them.

Enjoy your computer. You can find othert ways to show that you are a Christian. Also keep the fact in mind that vandals would choose religious and political emails to cause their damage.

I have never had anyone "INSIST" that I forward a religious e-mail. That's my choice. No, God is not going to judge you based on forwarding a religious email.

Boring emails need to present some incentive to get you to forward them or else they will die and all of someone's work will all be in vain, I guess. Patriotic emailers do the same damned thing. "If you love your country, blah blah blah..." A worthwhile message and presentation should be able to keep going on its own merit. There are dozens of tricks to keep emails circulating. The most insulting are the claims of all the good luck and other wonderful things that the internet fairies will bestow on you if you comply in the next 10 minutes and forward it to everyone in your address book.

Read them, enjoy if you wish, then delete as you please.

i'm not sure what you mean and who you are talking about. but if someone is saying that you don't love God because your not forwarding emails then that is just plain crazy. it's an email, not the bible. who do they want you to email it too, a non-believer? and if you don't you're going against God? like I said, that is just plain crazy! don't listen to whoever it is that is saying this. who are they to judge weather or not you love God. as long as you know that you love God then that's all that matters.

people who're non secular are caught up interior the DOs and DONTs. people who have a real relationship with God/Jesus might by no ability deliver hate mail to all and sundry. Jesus hates the sin yet loves the sinner. Over eater, drug person, alcoholic...etc...in spite of the sin...each and every of the such as Him

  • I hate getting those e-mails. I typically send one in response that says something like:

"In the past year, I have gotten 376 e-mails telling me that if I forwarded them to 10 or more people, I would have my dreams fulfilled, see hundreds 'saved', earn more money than I can imagine, or find my one true love. IT DIDN"T WORK!

So, the next time you want to bless me, please send chocolate, wine, or money."
