How do I make sure that I don't appear in other people's news feeds on Facebook?
I have gone to the privacy settings and unchecked all the things that I don't want to show up in my friend's news feeds, but they still do.
The same thing goes for applications. When I add one, I uncheck the box that says "Publish stories in my News Feed and Mini-Feed" but apparently that only applies to my own news feed, and other people can still read Stories about me on their own... is there any way to keep people from stalking me via the News feed? :(

I don't think that you can, if you are worried about people stalking you why have them as a friend?
The Feeds are for people to keep updated on their friends, I've tried to hide things too but I could never find a way. Sorry

I have tried also. I think its ridiculous everyone knows what you wrote or who you wrote to. I am getting sick of Facebook... I hope something newer & better structured comes along.
