Why do people view Obama supporters as being more passionate?

Have you had experiences with his supporters? I haven't seen any behavior that was different than any other's supporters. I've read many posts about their blind enthusiasm.

Oh wait the Ron Paul folks were a little wild.

    Of course you don't, deary...LOL

And Obama peeps have EARNED the negative reputation they have, not by their passion for their candidate (I'm very passionate about mine a well, as is most everyone on the board), but rather by the immature and uncivilized way in which they express that "passion".

No other group is as quick to call names, accuse all those opposing their candidate of racism and/or stupidity, or try to bully others into accepting their viewpoint. The sad thing is, most probably think they are helping their candidate; however, the opposite is actually true!

I'm not a Hillary supporter either, but I can fully understand why so many flatly refuse to vote for Obama come Nov. They've been insulted to the point that a line has been crossed for many of them. They don't like Obama as a candidate because of a number of isses (most say character and experience), but they really DON'T LIKE his supporters. Who needs a Rev. Wright to make Obama look bad, many of his supporters have done (and are still doing) more than he ever could to damage Obama's bid for the White House!

As an Obama supporter I feel like I am harshly critisized for my choice even though I did my research. I was actually on the fence about who I wanted for awhile.

I finally decided on Obama. People don't respect other people's support of another candidate. It's sad and childish.

People are treating this election more like it's American Idol instead of being an election for the president of the United States.

I've gotten some really nasty e-mails from Obama supporters. If they think they're educated, they must be smoking something really wild.

I rather be perceived as passionate than racists and uneducated.

We are perceived as passionate because we care about our candidate Obama

  • because we care about humanity and the future of our country.

because we dare to want world peace and are willing to try and help it happen.

because we love our fellow neighbor, even is he or she is different from us.

because we want the world to be a better place, even if it is not possible.
