Since going from a size 22 to a size 6 I have a huge fold of loose skin on my lower abdomen. Is there any?
chance of getting rid of it, BESIDES surgery. I am in good shape and do pilates and have quite muscular abs but this fold is really annoying. I know I should probably just be grateful to have lost the weight, but its not just an aesthetic thing. It feels cumbersume to have a big fold hanging down. I also had a baby so it adds that much to it. Surgery is not my thing, so if there's nothing I can do, just be honest.

Unfortunately, it does not go back up without surgery. It isn't muscle, so you can exercise all day long and it will not budge.

Have patience and watch for the autorecovery by the body. The cause is rapid loss of weight.
Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals. Do not go on fast or starvation diet.
Nothing other than water in between.
No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition.
Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free.
Be patient and not in a hurry.
U cannot choose spots for reduction.
This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight.

I would think the skin will shrink over time, but how much shrinkage, I have no idea.
I know a lady who lost 70 pounds, and later did the surgery.
It's not like carving into your body surgery, she was fine, and recovery time was really small. No pain.
CONGRADULTIONS on your weight loss.. damn, now I want some milk and a donut!!!

It really depends on your age, but it sounds like a tummy tuck is going to be your only option. I know that sucks, but unless you are in your early twenties, I really doubt it's going to snap back into place... and if it does, it'll be a very very long process.
good luck, and congrats on the awesome weightloss!!
