Wolves strike again in Northern Idaho!?

http://www.kxly.com/Global/story.asp?S=8327150

This is not an article about a hunter in the woods; it is at his house! This man cannot feel his CHILDREN and his pets are safe because of the reintroduction.

The wolves are closer than ever to the some of the most urban but rural populations in the state. Out of the largest cities in Idaho and the largest in the panhandle it only takes 5 minutes to cross into the CDA national forest. Do you feel this is going to get even worse? What do you think about Barry's mentioning of his new opinion of wolves? These animals are not killing only for food like pro wolve advocates try to sell to people that are not around to see the carnage they bring on families and herd. They are killing because the pack decided it was their land. Between territorial and reflex killings the animals wolves kill are far greater than. How many pets, livestock and eventually children(possibly adults too) have to die or mauled before we fix this?

Update:

Charlie: Survival of the fittest, and if you want to know the real truth, the wolves have been here only as long as man has been. The wolves and mans evolution is close....were they here before white man settled...yes to that.

We got rid of them because they were a threat to our lively hood and then brought that threat back???? For what reason? Every argument the wolf lovers have for the wolves bering good are now proving to be wrong and we are learning it the hard way. While the wolf lovers are sitting in the city somewhere walking their dog without concern and letting their kids play in the yard the folks in the country are feeling the consequences of THEIR actions.

Put yourself in the shoes of the man who shot this wolf. You like the wolves because they do not impact your life everyday in a negative way. I have yet to meet someone that is effected by wolves like, love or cherish them. Not a single one...even the most educated level headed of them hate these animals.

Update 2:

Charlie: If I was a betting man I would have to say that you have ZERO experience in the woods in wolf country based on your answer.

I am an ethical, moral, experienced and in my opinion talented hunter that has more ACTUAL dedication to the preservation of nature than most of the population.

What Idaho is finding out is that they are more of a plague on our herds than help. They spread the diseases MORE and they are not elminating the threat of those diseases. They are reflex killing elk calves just for the "fun of it". They are taking down herd bulls, yes the strongest bull in the herd not the weakest, when he is bugling. They are costing farmers, ranchers and 4h students to lose their animals. They have killed countless family pets.

I honestly cannot think of one good thing that the pro wolf folks told us was going to happen, that has actually happened! Actually the only good I see from them being here is I can hunt them now.

    Remember back when I said it was going to get worse? And what’s interesting about the story is although Fish &Game knows and admits its going to get worse; all they propose to do is give them radio collars! Jesus what morons! That’s like having a killer in your neighbor hood and the cops say; “well we have a tracking collar on him to see where he goes to kill now.” Brilliant! Hey I know a cheaper way; you shoot the wolf! There’s more, they admit it, and there will be more killing and attacks, they admit that too.

    But Idaho is not alone with this folks! Check out this link sent to me about Mexican wolves attacking and killing;

    http://www.wolvesgonewild.com/?p=95

    Seems New Mexico is havin the same problems.

    We have the same problems in Alaska.

    Now watch as the wolves multiply and spread out even more! Sooner or later some pro-wolf lover will have the fortune to see their loved pet or child attacked by a wolf.

    What the wolf recovery people have done, is basically opened Pandora’s box. Now the blood thirsty killing wolves are out for meat and will ravage the land. Dumb azzes!!!

    “Oh Mr. Wolf, what big shinny teeth you have!”…..”The better to eat you with my dear!”

    NOTE;

    For those wolf lovers out there who want facts about what killers wolves are and how many people have been attacked and killed by them, go to this link for proof;

    Go to those links in my blog and learn what wolves are really about!

    We have the same problem near me in New Mexico. I am of the sincere opinion that wolves and humans cannot live together or near each other, and there's no doubt in my mind who the superior species is, unlike all of these idealologist trying to "reintroduce" a dangerous predatory species into human populated areas. Man is not unnatural or in competition with nature, we are an intrinsic part of nature. Bringing back the wolves makes as much sense as bringing back velociraptors or T-rex.

    The wolves, (5 grays I believe it said) went after the other canines on this guys farm. They didn't touch the cattle, or at least that's not mentioned. They were after the dog(s). This happens all the time in Northern Wisconsin, and most people put their dogs inside for their own protection. Of course, most of them contact the DNR, but I know for a fact, several wolves are no longer with us because the DNR didn't act or act fast enough. Do a search on Wisconsin wolves, read the DNR facts from 2007. It'll open your eyes. People won't put up with it, and they shouldn't have to. The WI DNR (dumba*ses they are) reintro'ed wolves several years ago, and there has been nothing but probs.

    Wait until you're stalked by one, (like I have) you'll hate them even more.

    What some folks don’t get (like Charlie d) is that wolves will not stay in wilderness areas. Seems the wolf doesn’t give a damn about human rules and laws (shocking huh?).

    What gets me is not that wolves kill what ever the hell they want to; no I understand that, it’s how stupid people are! If man could bring back the dinosaurs we would have these same retards say that the dinos were here first; get used to T-rex killing family members!

    All I can say is, if you got a wolf problem (ie: attacking people, pets, and livestock) in your area, Shoot to kill

    It kind of makes me laugh how the Europeans came here, destroyed the Natives way of life, and destroyed species populations (wolf, buffalo, and etc.). Now the wolf is making a come back and is attacking. It's like karma come back to bite everyone in the A$$

    Edit: I say look out for your own and let the "anti's" learn the hard way

    One of many stories like this we are going to see Cam, but I fear the somewhat positive outcome in this one will likely not be repeated. It is too bad the guy didn't shoot the whole damn pack of them.

    Near my fishing spot in New Mexico recently the town sherrif chased off with warning shots three wolves who were circling an 82-year-old woman who was in her garden in the middle of the afternoon. They did not respond to his car horn or his siren, so he started shooting near them and they took off. They were not at all scared of humans....and that will equal more human lives lost soon. People in this town are scared for their children and elderly and many have started openly packing firearms (NM is an Open Carry state). I can assure you I will not be in these woods without wolf protection.

    Bleeding heart animal lovers think that there are millions of square miles of the interior of our country where it's perfectly safe to put these dangerous predators so they can frolick and run and play like in a Disney cartoon. The reality is, people and their domestic animals live here and the combination spells danger for human lives.

    I say we end this stupid experiment at the cost of billions of my tax dollars and soon, human lives, and rid the whole continent of these animals.

    That is outrageous. If a wolf attacked my family or my dogs I would go on a wolf killing rampage until the problem was solved. I agree that the hunters need to take care of this because the politicians are obviously busy with their heads up their asses.

    Just imagine all the ones that aren't reported for fear of the law. I'm sorry but if a wolf pack was coming within yards of my home on a regular basis I would shoot everyone I saw until they were all dead or they simply stopped coming.

    Sorry to disagree with you all, but I don't buy all this "man's dominion over animals" nonsense.

    The wolves were here first- learn to live with them. Protect your dogs if you must, but wolves are part of the natural ecosystem, and any REAL hunter knows this.

    * I had no idea that there was so much ignorance regarding wildlife in this section. I'm glad I associate with more enlightened hunters.

    In case you're wondering, I hunt and own land in wolf country.

    Politicians playing god, i say if there is a problem, let the hunters take care of it...

    Good Hunting
