Desert Island Disc?
Ok, so you know the drill with this question, but as a twist, you only get to pick one album, not a bunch of them. So which album would you be standed with?
edit: stranded*
I'd pick The Sound of Perseverance btw.
Kill em All would be cool, even if I did wanna smash the cd player every time Jump in the Fire came on.
Yes, you get the CD player, Lol.
Gods of the Earth is a great record. I love the very slight stoner edge, it really adds weight to it.

This is indeed a tough question, but I think I have to go with
Operation Mindcrime - Queensryche
One of the few albums out there that I can listen to all the way through without skipping tracks (in fact that album basically is one big long track to me). Not to mention, it's pretty long (not a 6 or 8 song album) and the version I have has a few live bonus tracks on it, which would offer a little extra entertainment on a desert island. Even without those bonus tracks I think I'd still pick this disk.

This is gonna be tough. For what it's worth, I'd be willing to sell my Shakespeare for a few thousand more songs. Songs: Heroin - The Velvet Underground Everyday People - Sly and the Family Stone The Creator Has a Master Plan - Pharaoh Sanders (36 minutes, but it's still a song) Isolation - Joy Division We Can Get Down - A Tribe Called Quest Positively 4th Street - Bob Dylan (Don't Worry) If There's a Hell Below, We're All Going to Go - Curtis Mayfield (Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding Book: Lolita - Vladmir Nabokov Luxury: Assuming movies would be worthless because I couldn't watch them on anything, I'll copy you and choose my bass. Single song: Heroin

The only album I've ever been able to put on and listen to over and over and over again is Sublime "40oz To Freedom"
I don't know why.. I used to listen to it 5 times a day...but I smoked a lot of weed back then so.....

Alice in Chains - Dirt
The real question is, do we have something to play the record with, or is like having tons of canned food but no can opener?

I would say Reign in Blood, but it is too short, so I'll say We Sold Our Soul For Rock N Roll by Black Sabbath
