why did the Broncos & Colts answer get thumbs down it was more right on than any of them besides the E Smith answer.

The Broncos have been able to plug - n - play just about anyone with success.

Anyone that plays under the Colts OC Tom Moore is a product of the system. Barry Sanders may be the exception BUT, he did rush for nearly 5,000 yds in 3 years under Moore in Detroit. But, look at Indy under him. Edge James came in in his 1st year & was a stud when healthy...... until he left for AZ. enter Addai who nearly nobody else wanted & he's worked out well under this system.

It's tough to say because the defenses are more complex and most star runningbacks are the focus of defensive schemes (Peterson, LT). If your a good rb, you produce regardless of the system; it helps to have a stacked O-line tho.

I think Marion Barber fits the bill though. He's on a team where you have to account for so many other weapons, he's able to flourish (and has a massive O-line to boot). If he was on a team that didnt have the likes of TO, Witten, Romo, and Crayton, I don't think he'd put up great numbers.

    Adrian Peterson

He runs behind a great offensive line backed by two Pro Bowlers in Steve Hutchsion and Matt Birk along with the massive left tackle Bryant McKinne.

AD is a good RB but he has a great offensive line that backs him up and opens holes for him.

Anybody that ran behind the Kansas City Chiefs line when they had all of those great veteran lineman. Priest Holmes was solid until he ran behind that line and that turned a solid back into a great back. They draft Larry Johnson and even he produces. And people didn't want to draft him even the team that drafted him didn't want him because he was a cry baby but behind that line it transformed him.

The same goes for the Denver Broncos running backs because they run a zone blocking scheme that gives the running back to options to hit when running. They had Clinton Portis who was a fast one cut back and they made him look Great! Then he goes to the Redskins and he is a above average running back in the NFC.

    Adrian Peterson.

He runs behind Steve Hutchinson, who made that bum Shaun Alexander an MVP. And last year, AP also had Tony Richardson, who's basically a kingmaker-type fullback, second only to Lorenzo Neal probably. The rest of the offensive line is great as well.

I'm not saying that he's not good, I'm just saying that his amazing season had a lot of factors involved that had little to do with him.

Addai because you have to play the pass on every down against the Colts. He made the pro-bowl because of Manning. He is average at best.

Adrian Peterson, if that line can make a slow, nothing special bum like Chester Taylor look like a pro-bowler then that shows how good Peterson really is.

On the other end of the spectrum...

Willis McGahee, anyone who can find daylight in THAT revolving door of a line AND make the pro-bowl is a beast.

Most of them are. Without a line you're screwed. Give me some blocking and almost anyone could crack off 3 yards a carry. Only very special guys like Sanders and Brown were amazing without the line.

frank gore because the niners cant pass so gore is the 80 percent offense so yes product of the system is frank gore

(thing with LT is that chargers have a passing game with gates at TE so chargers can run play action more with LT going pass routes in the flat
