Should misandry (hatred of men) be made politically incorrect?
It often seem like you can't say positive things about men without being labelled as a sexist or otherwise abused.
Like saying positive things about men and pointing out things that men have done throughout history. Not that it matters to me. As an equalist I couldn't give a **** about whether it was a man or a woman who invented Tippex, electric kettles, or whatever, or who was the first man or woman into outer space.
The polcorists attempt to promote their own and because they misguidedly perceive it as a fight they make it seem as though it's a constant struggle between men to women to see who's "better" or "who was first". You get groans whenever mentioning some fact about a great man. I don't understand it at all. What's wrong with praising something worthwhile that a man has contributed to society?
You can't add value to the accomplishments of women by devaluing the accomplishments of men. It's not a counterbalance. Equality is defined by putting everyone on the same playing field, not by putting each gender on opposite sides of the scale.
Even some women have been rebuked by other women for being positive about men. This English teacher hates women for pointing that exact same thing out. Almost every conversation the class has, it has something to do with women's accomplishments and socially belittling men in the process.

I have no problem with accurate statements regarding specific inventions, people, times, processes that show men in a favourable light - the vast majority of leaders, thinkers, movers and shakers in history were men.
I have a problem with sweeping statements like "Men invented civilisation and every single technological and scientific invention, men invented everything so women should just be grateful." The same institutions that forwarded the progress of humanity often acted with great and deliberate brutality towards women, and it is no wonder women failed to achieve the same things. It is rather like saying slaves in the Roman era never achieved much so working class people should be grateful to the aristocracy.
So if we are talking about the past great achievements of white people, one must always remember how they acted to suppress non-white people, and temper our own smugness in the face of our own brutality - and perhaps reconsider, if those are the traits of our race, whether one was worth the other and also, whether one could have been possible without the other? :-)

It seems you cannot label the accomplishments of women without being labeled a misandrist.
I get what you are saying though - in the name of equality one shouldn't be better than the other. I wish people in this forum would understand by constantly saying one IS better than the other that we're only alienating each other more.

The essence of feminism is to showcase the world that whatever men have achieved has been at the cost of suppression of women.
I really do not expect feminists not to hate or denigrate men.
It is their basis of existence.
In that context, I have more respect for radical feminists than those liberals who use sugar coated words to fool around masses. Atleast "radicals" say what they believe in and not like those double faced liberal sycophants and who support radicals behind the back, but tell you that it is all about equality even when it is all about power and domination.

I agree, no gender should be made to feel inferior to the other. It all depends on the person and their character, not gender. I think misandry is already considered un-PC, it just doesn't receive the attention of the flip-side of the coin.

Yes as long as misogyny is there as well.
