Does anyone have a good guide for making a Skull out of clay?
I need a tutorial because i just cant seem to get the proportions right!

If you can get an image of the front and side.
Enlarge them to the size you want.
Glue the enlargement to a board -poster or mat board
Cut out the silhouette
Use the part that you cut away as a template
One template for the front view - One template for the side view
The templates will help get the over-all proportions

Well, the best silly answer is to model a head in clay then either
A: Peel off the thickness of skin, flesh, and cartilege to the bone :-)
B: Build the skull next to the head and build it while mentally subtracting the skin, flesh, etc. That will enforce the proportions.
