Would you actually fight for your cellphone or blackberry if sumone tried to snatch it?

Because a friend of mine today, Jessica, got mugged and she gave him her wallet and rings and bracelets and pendant and even her Glasses LOL.. but he asked for her PDA and she said "no" LMAO. so he tried to take it and she started fighting him and screaming and he freaked out and just ran off. He had a Knife, but didnt stab her or cut her.....

Me, i probaby wouldnt have even given him the sweat off my but, but i can be headstrong and ignorrant,, but if you knew her, her fighting for a PDA is very out of character, but it had her life in it and she refused and faught... I think its crazy, just give him the phone.

What do you think?

Regarding the Palm Centro (AT&T version) Have It, Love it, wouldn't even consider the Blackberry Pearl... My friend has one and it's so annoying.... The Palm Centro is an EXCELLENT phone,( Soooo easy to use,ENORMOUS amount of features, Google maps, Telenav, cool touch screen, and so much more... it's just great all around) You will have so much fun with it, figuring out all the cool things you can do! Don't listen to these Blackberry maniacs....I HIGHLY recommend the PALM CENTRO BABY!! :) In answer to your question, Mr. Centro will dropkick Ms. Pearls A$$!!! Centro

I bet she wishes she knew he'd just run off like a wuss if she started fighting back before she gave him everything else before the phone!

I'd fight for a lot of other things (like my wallet, with all my $$, debit card, pictures, SS card, etc) before I'd fight for my phone, but I'd scream and run and all that at the beginning not just all of a sudden. Plus I have insurance on my sidekick.. so I could always get another.

No, I wouldn't put my life on the line for a stupid Blackberry or I-phone or whatever expensive phone it is coz my life is worth more than that. I'll give him the phone and forget about it. I'll file a report with the cops and call my service provider to cut off my phone service coz it was stolen. It's as easy as that.

its not about the cost of the phone. its whats inside. people rely on technology too much these days. i dont even have my own mothers phone number memorized because i just type m-o-m into my phone and hit send and it calls. so yea i would definitely fight for my phone. although since im a young strong veteran i think i would have fought him anyway just to make sure he thinks twice before trying to rob someone. i hope your friend caused damage to him in some way. he deserves worse.

Fighting back just for a cell phone? Your friend just got lucky that time but you don't know how desperate people get nowadays. They can be holding a serious weapon like a gun or knife and they can even be drunk and get out of control. You can always get another cell phone...but never another life! Remember that! :)

My Blackberry is just a fancy phone, and certainly not something worth getting stabbed over.....besides, my employer pays for it so it's not like I'm losing any money in the deal.

If someone robs me - especially with a gun - they're welcome to whatever I have. It's all replaceable, but the same can't be said of life.

Well, anyone who attacks me better be prepared for a fight cause I'm not going down easy, whether they want $1 or my whole wallet, its on. Cell phones are definantly worth protecting especially with all that info stored on them.

I would do just what I did the last time. I would call Sprint and have my gps system activated. The thief would be caught in less than 5 minutes. I would ask that he take my phone.

Life isn't worth messing with over a material thing. I would not risk being stabbed, shot or killed over a material thing. No way! She was lucky. Most criminals would not have just ran off.
