Please help! I have a VERY uncomforable husband on my hands!?
Is my husband allergic to the ocean?!!
We just got back home from San Diego today. We spent yesterday swimming on boogie boards in the ocean at La Jolla shores.
As soon as we were leaving the beach my husband noticed something wasn't right. He had broken out into a rash on his abdomen and was complaining that his penis and testicals felt like they were on fire! It's worse today than yesterday, PLUS his nipples are now raw and bumpy just as his testicals are.
Any idea what this could be? Any ideas for treatment?

It's caused by friction on the polystyrene boogie boards .
Surfers wear extra long shorts and a rashguard vest or shirt . It is possible to that he had has a brush with jellyfish .

There could have been something in the water. Was he wearing a shirt while in the water? If so, perhaps just a bad case of nippleburn, or the salt water didn't agree with his skin.
Perhaps a visit to the dermatologist would be ideal.

That's from salt rash... or sea lice... Put some calomine lotion on it.
Boogie board riders all wear rash shirts for a reason.
