Red light ticket? for turning right while yellow but it turned red right after the front of my car entered?
I was turning right in an intersection with the red light cameras, and the first 2-3 feet of my car were in the intersection while it was still yellow, and then it turned red, and the back of my car was still before the limit line... i think i might have saw it flash, but it could have been for a number of other people it was a really busy intersection...but anyway how likely is it that i will get a ticket for that ?
is there somewhere online i can go to find out if i got one?
I have been thinking about it and wouldnt it be pretty messed up if i got a ticket for that? i mean at that light you are allowed to turn right on a red, and i entered it while yellow so i did not need to come to a full stop....so i should be okay right??

You most likely will not receive a ticket. The flash is triggered by any car breaking the beam when the light changes red. It automatically takes a picture, but that doesn't mean you are the one getting a ticket, or that someone must necessarily get one. There is a human review process before tickets are assigned, when they see your car turning right you will probably be fine unless it is a No Turn on Red intersection...might be a problem then. It could have been another car that ran it too if the intersection was as busy as you mention.
(And passing a yellow light is a points/fine infraction in DC also but the red light cameras don't enforce it.)

In most states you're technically not running a red light if the front of your car crosses the stop line before the light turns red. Most likely you didn't even activate the camera because of that, but if you did the camera would have taken two pictures. They would document that your car was partially in the intersection before the light turned red.
I don't know of any way you can possibly check it, if you get a ticket you'll get notified. There's nothing you can do either way except wait and see what happens.

If a ticket is issued it will go to the address as listed in DOR when the vehicle is registered.
Don't stress about what you can't control regarding worrying about if you will receive a ticket or not.
Remember yellow means slow down..if any part of your vehicle is in the intersection when the light turns red...you are subject to a ticket. That doesn't necessarily mean you will get a ticket.

I'm pretty sure you will get a ticket. The yellow light has a reason, and it does not matter that the back of your car was still before the limit line.
If you do get a ticket, and you have not taken the Defensive Driving Course within the past year of the date of the ticket, then take it via the Internet. As long as you pass, pay for the DDC and pay a smaller fine it will not show up on your driving record, and your insurance will not go up.

Yellow is the same as red unless you are too close to stop safely. If it was turning red as you were just entering, you were too late. Sounds like it may have got you.

You were in the wrong. Yellow means "slow down to stop", not "go ahead anyway"
So if you continued going, even on a yellow, then it is a ticket.

You should be ok. Fight the camera method, all it is doing is making cops jobs easier. why?????

....did a cop hand you a ticket?
If not, then no, you have no ticket.
