Well, i have watched a TON of anime and i would say some of my favorites out of the probably 50+ animes i have watched are...

I like My favorite is Yu Yu Hakusho because it isn't a story of the traditional kinda of Superman heroism type story. In fact Yusuke, the main character, is pretty much despised my everyone except for maybe five or six people. Also Yusuke struggles to get stronger, and grow, it doesn't just happen that he has the power like the otherconventional heroes. He doesn't fight for justice, only what he believes in.
