In the theater seeing A.I., be honest:?

Please be honest. I am just curious how many people experienced the same thing I did, which was the following:

When the main character ends up at the bottom of the ocean and the screen says something like "thousands of years later..." did you hear anyone nearby say, "Feel's like it's been thousands of years!"?

If so, please respond and include your region (For example, mine is the South, so no surprise there) and how it made you feel at the time. It made me really mad because it interrupted the mood of the movie but also because it was really funny and I didn't want to think so.

The movie IS a bit long but pretty good. I haven't been in a theater in 20 years and one of the reasons is the lack of common courtesy... so I guess it isn't "common" any more.

    Saw the movie on DVD.

Here's what I don't get. If I don't like a movie I just leave. Why spoil it for others?

I believe I did say that! It did feel like a thousand years. It didn't interrupt my flow though because I sort of made fun of the movie the whole way through. It was the only way I survived it. That stupid bear reminded me of the Snuggle softner sheets bear. And for some reason, when he fell out of the balloon and went "oof" I could not stop laughing.

Random question, being that the movie was in theaters years ago!

Oh, and I am not from the South, so it wasn't me who ruined it for you. ;-)

It was just some dude being a retard and killing the movie. People do that all the time at the movies. No respect... I'm from the south.

It could have been me, sorry! A.I. wasn't THAT bad (IMO), but I had just seen Robin WIlliam's "Bicentennial Man" the week before, and I was just about fed up with those depressing-*** sci-fi flicks. Everybody left those movies looking like someone just shot their dog. Downer.
