Are The Detroit Tigers starting to show signs of being alive?

Looks like they are starting to come around to where we all knew they would be. Including todays game (9-2 end of 6) and 9 last night and 12 the day before yesterday, it seems they are showing signs of life.

Life is good.

They have shown signs of a pulse a few times this year with sweeps of Texas, New York, and now Seattle scoring double digit runs in a lot of those games. But for some reason they go flat the very next series. Up next for them is the Twins. Let's see how it goes and judge from there.

On paper they should be way out in front. I did pick your boys to win the division this year and I'm sticking with it. However they better do more than have a pulse if they want to make the playoffs. It's still early so I'm not going to panic just yet. That goes for my Yankees as well.

Well the offense is on track and the pitching is showing flashes of becoming what it needs to be...I want to see a week or two of it before declaring them back to what they need to be! I am just glad that they told Willis to go to the pen instead of Gallaraga....Gallaraga earned his spot with good results, Willis will be back in the rotation but not until he proves that he can get guys out consistently!

We got to beat those teams in our division.Minnesota,KC,Cleveland and the "Whiny Sox",before anyone is going to give us any chance(or respect)--get rid of Sheffield(he's just a big burden-let Marcus Thames DH-he'll hit alot more than Sheff. If we're not consistent,Georgie,we'll be done before All Star break-they got to string along a BIG streak.

I am sure they will be able to bounce back. I am a Red Sox fan but the Tigers are my second fav team in the AL. My brother is a HUGE Tigers fan. I think they have a good shot I would never count them out.

I have a feeling that the ALCS could come down to the Sox and the Tigers.

And the White Sox win their 8th in a row.

What, did the Tiggers win 3 in a row??? :)

Man, I like the Sox in first and the Tiggers in last. Don't forget the end of May!

EDIT: My sister told me this, remember, I'm not paying attention to baseball. :)

it looks pretty good for our boys now if our relief pitching can get it together we will leap frog into 1st place and stay there for the rest of the season
