Understanding MRI report?
I had an MRI done this week that was to focus on the Plantar Fascia and the Achillies Tendon. The doctor called and said he got the report back and that there was no damage in those areas.
In that same MRI, what else might it show? Will it show the irregular bone growth, that we already know I have? Will it show fractures, if there are any? I guess what I am really asking, since they specifically request two certain things, will it show beyond that?
Here's an idea.....I did ask, but the CNA that called to give me the report that the doctor gave to her did not have the answers, and she said that she would relay to the doctor my concerns. It has been a few hours already, and I was curious if some of the 12 year old Dougie Howsers wanted to answer my question.

First read this and look at the MRI images!

The Doc stated you have no damage! The MRI will show small bone growths, will show fractures. Yes a MRI will show a 'lot' and it seems outside of possible inflammation you have nothing wrong with your foot. Best of Luck

Here's an idea, ask your doctor. Not to be mean but why would you come to Yahoo for such information? Do you put more faith in 12 year old sadists than your md?
