the point of a right hand diamond ring?

To wear a promise ring or any ring that is not an engagement nor a wedding ring.

what? there is no POINT to it. you must be the type of person who reads way too much into things. i have my wedding rings on my left hand so therefore.... my other rings have to go on different fingers that are available, like my right hand. i wear my promise ring, which is a diamond, on my right hands because it's the only finger it fits!

I am not sure that there is a point really. I think that it is just a fad that is going on right now. Do you really need a reason to wear another diamond?

To express your independence and that you're OK with not being married/engaged. Although if you feel the need to prove such a thing, I have a sneaking suspicion that person hates being single.
