95% chance...PC. Most likely the joint at where it connects to your motherboard needs to be resoldered. It is relatively common. If it is the cable, there should be signs of physical wear which would be obvious (frayed, etc).

For your laptop brand, I am not sure, but I recently replaced my old Dell laptop because it was having the same problem. After purchasing a new power cord, it still wouldn't work. I took it to a repair shop, and they said the motherboard needed to be replaced. On my computer, the part that connects with the cord is attached to the motherboard. That part was loose, and they are apparently not sold separately. Another friend of mine (also with a Dell) had his motherboard replaced for the same reason. You may want to check laptop repair forums for more specific help, because your computer may not be the same.

Well snce you have been having problems with your power cord, chance is its your cord. You might just have to get a new one. I would try a pawn shop or ebay first cause they tend to be very expensive. But if your computer is still working without the power cord then I don't think it would be your computer. GL on your search and hope all goes well! *XOXO

it can be the cord but also c if you have broken the cord or the port where you put it in you computer. Usually what happens is that you bent the cord tip where you put it in the computer. So if that is bent just a bit you can have power probs. So get a new cord.

Different angles? you mean the electrical prongs on the cord? If so, then it's probably your electrical outlet as mine has the same issue in my room. Try plugging somewhere else.

It simply cannot be a PC issue if you jiggle around the cord then all of a sudden it works.

Most likely the cord. I see this happen all the time with so many users of LT's at my work. I can't recall it ever being the PC... always the cord going bad.

    Good Luck!

    1) Could be the cord (make sure all of the interfaces are plugged in

    2) To make sure it's not the PC try another cord

First of all it can't be your pc if it's a laptop. Secondly I would say it's definitely your cord.

it looks like your power cord problem, not laptop, try to use laptop on battery, if it work fine, that is your power cord issue, replace your laptop power supply.

Not certain about your laptop, call someone to the house in computer

maintenance, explain you don't want to pay a big amount for what may be a small problem. They then may drop by on their way to somewhere else and have a quick look for you.
