Do you sometimes feel discouraged within yourself, and what do you think is responsible for this?

Yes, I do. As long as we remain here on earth, we are bound to be discouraged one time or the other. There are certain things which we cannot control but God. Therefore, whatever caused the discouragement, will eventually pass away because of the changes in human life.

I suffer from bipolar disorder and PTSD. I also have short term memory loss. Most times I cannot remember what I had for dinner last night, but remember things that happened years ago. I used to be a computer consultant and built computers. When my wife's computer crashed last week I worked on it for days and the more I worked the more discouraged I felt. It finally beat me down. I took her with me and bought an entire new computer system. Then the discouragement was added with shame because I should be able to do someone but gave up instead. The responsibility for all this is a combination of my mental health disorders and my mental health medications.
