Buy a English / Spanish dictionary. I look thru mine and write down about 30 words ( each week ) on a piece of paper. Also have someone that knows Spanish pronounce the word for you . Write down how you think its pronounced and double check with your friend Write down the correct spelling in Spanish also.

Start with the everyday / common words. Study and use the list all week. Once you got it do it again.

My vocabulary and comprehension is fine . Took about 6 months. I understand all conversations and can speak it buttttt. The way I form my sentences is rather funny. They still bring me my beer and food but probably laugh at how I structured the sentence. I do get respect for trying their language though.

Spanish TV ( especially the news ) is great too. Even if your not "watching " the program . just having it as background sound helps alot. I say the news as then you have pictures to pretty much figure it out.

Numbers are very important in day to day language , conversation so dont forget numbers as well. I again didnt learn and found out real quick it was difficult relying on the store merchant to be honest on the cost and change I was due. Big mistake but I learned numbers real quick !!!

I think by hanging out with people who speak Spanish. You can buy Spanish tapes at the book stores or get them from your local library. You can also take a Spanish class at a college. I think they have websites to help learn how to speak Spanish too.

    FYI,

Do you want to make finding out Spanish funny? Then you need to consider this course from right here https://tr.im/D6JjR one of the languages of Rocket Languages.

The dialogues and lessons from this program are presented in a humorous and fascinating way and not like Rocket’s rivals; they don’t use a cookie cutter technique (in other words the articles is distinctive).

Members from Rocket Languages have access to a learner’s forum for the specified language as nicely as a basic forum for everybody. This is a very good attribute to have because it permits people to ask for clarification and engage with one one more particularly given that native speakers are actively moderating the forum.

Rocket Languages is the greatest on the internet course of Spanish.

Well i suppose the best way would be to get taught by someone professional. Being around Spanish speakers would be really helpful as well because it helps you to practice your speaking and listening skills.

You could also trying using a website like this to help you: http://www.learn-spanish-online.de/index.htm

Apparently its quite an easy language to learn. Its my first language and personally i dont think its as complicated as english.

Oh yeah, watching spanish tv is quite useful as well, and you could probably find other useful things to help you at the library.

You can download Rosetta Stone from torrents...I did that. I haven't used the program much but from my impression thus far it seems like it may be a bit confusing for people without a Spanish background (school, native, or otherwise).

Like, they ask "Es el coche rojo?"

And they say, "Si, el coche es rojo."

    OR "Si, lo es."

Without an explanation that "lo" is the direct object for coche, nor do they explain what they would do if it wasn't masculine but feminine...I've taken several years of Spanish so I know the grammar pretty well, but for people who don't I can understand why it'd confuse them.

If your still in highschool, I suggest signing up for Spanish classes.

If not, check out your local library. They should have plenty of books and videos for beginners. Thats how I started out as, it really works.

    1. There are plenty of latin-americans everywhere, try speaking with one.

    2. Ask for an exchange student program at a latin american country (or Spain).

    3. Try extracurricular courses at school, they might be free.
