Will GTA 4 ever come out on PS2?

No, it will not be for the Playstation 2. Yes, if they made it the graphics would be less stunning, but in reality they can't make it because ps2 games are stored on regular DVDs while Ps3 stores games on Blu Rays and 360 on dual layer DVDs..simply put, there is not enough space in the disc/console to have the entire game to play.

If you want to play the newest games of this generation of consoles ( PS3, 360, Wii) you are going to have to upgrade and it's as simple as that.

Rockstar couldn't make GTA4 the way it is on the PS3 on the PS2 because the PS2 is limited in technology.

PS2 games aren't going to be coming out forever and the PS2's lifecycle is winding down and has about 1 and a half- 2 years left before it will be discontinued.

If games like GTA4 were coming out on the PS2 then PS2 owners wouldn't see any reason to buy a PS3. Eventually you are going to have to upgrade if you want to play GTA4.

No, I'm sorry but based on the information i have read sony will not be able to bring it out on PS2 because it will have to be on 2 discs. However, it should be coming out on PC within the next 2 years.

It will never happen. even if they did do a ps2 version, they would have to dumb everything down and you wouldn't be getting the full experience.

No, it is too high tech at this point to become a last-gen game. If it did, it would be shaved down, the graphics would suck, the game play would suck, and it wouldn't be fun at all.
