How do I completely delete or cancel my Facebook account?
All I've managed to do is "deactivate" it. I can still sign in if I want, but I want to get rid of the account entirely. How do I do that?

Just go to "Account" (top right-hand corner of your homepage) and click "Deactivate".

Trust me, my account is also deactivated. If you leave your account deactivated for more than 12 months, the system will automatically delete it, with sending you an email a week before. You cannot permentely delete it yourself, but deactivating it will do the same thing, it wont even show up anywhere on the net, thats why it takes a minute to deactivate it, the software is encoding your information.

You have to email account management and ask them to remove all the content. Can take a while.
