Is there a program to log the amount of data transfered?
I want to keep track of how much I download so I can see which internet package to pick. Like cell phone minutes, but I want to track megabytes.

DU meter but its not free what you are looking for is a "bandwidth monitor" and there are a bunch of them. just google them and keep downloading and see which one works for you the best
