Go with something unique rather than what's popular.

Since you hair is wavy/curly and frizzy I think you shouldn't get a short haircut because I have the same hair as you and the shorter it is the harder it is to manage. If you are going to straighten it, blow dry it straight or wavy/curl it then it would be good. For a hair style get lots of small layers that get thin near the bottom. I have seem that alot of times where it is fuller at the top and a little thin near the bottom. But anyways ask a hairdresser what they think and what you would like...

You can make curly hair straight. Try using something like Paul Mitchell's superskinny hair serum or some other hair serum. Then flat iron it. You could do the bob if you want if you use those tools.

If your hair is thick or thin go for the bob and just straighten the top layer thats what i do every morning it only takes 10 minutes and i have thick wavy semi-long hair so it would only take you like five minutes I say go for it!

im so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it just wont work. short hair in general wont do you justice. unless you flat iron it everyday and i do mean everyday. but with your hair type......the longer the better. seriously. and on the plus side of that most men generally prefer long hair if that makes a difference to you at all. but i feel for ya, i have the same hair type and i have alwways been jealous of cute bobs or short stylish dos but it just wont work for our kind honey. best of luck whatever you decide!!
