My neighbor gave me a router, how do I make it to where I can access the internet on my PC?

Update:

It is wired, and I can access the internet on it now, but how do I set up the router so I can access the internet via i and be able to use my printer (which is wireless).

    - Basicly you plug your internet into the router's internet port.

    - Connect your PC to the router with an ethernet cord. ( usually blue )

    - Adjust the settings in the router, and you're good to go but
