Liberal media bias is real?

according to a UCLA study it is. Did anyone really not know this?

http://www.newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/Media-Bia...

Update:

according to the study Fox is only slightly right biased and not more than the proportion to the left some of the other major outlets are. In other words the most liberal biased media outlets are more biased left than Fox.

Update 2:

...than Fox is right.

This study was based on data prior to 2005. Now it is even worse.

I see myself as center-of-the-street at the same time as it contains politics. I do see a extremely mild liberal bias contained in the media, yet nowhere close to as large because the Republicans cry about. operating example.....Republicans complained about media bias every time a polldisplaying Obama ahead contained in the most contemporary election became given any press, putting forward that the polls were inaccurate and for this reason no longer newsworthy. contained in the coolest, the polls were surprisingly a lot useless-on and it type of sounds like the media became in simple terms reporting the reality.

I feel that any liberal bias is more than offset by all the loudmouthed Right wing fanatics on all the air waves. That said I know we are not getting all the news that we should be getting, particularly about the war, both good and bad news.Mainly we need unbiased reporting so that we won't become too polarized in our political views as we are now. There are many things upon which several sides can agree if only reporting was less biased either to the left or right.

I think the Democrats winning the election last November has a lot to do with the right-wing media spreading their bias too thick. If there is a liberal bias, it's subtle compared to the neocon bias trumpeted by Limbaugh and Hannity.

Sorry not buying it. Maybe they lean more to the side of the democrats' version of liberalism but they are anything but liberal in reality.

When was the last time you turned on Fox and heard about Monsanto putting 3rd world farmers out of business?

When was the last time you saw a news report arguing that taft-hartley should be repealed?

When was the last time you heard a TV news anchor mention renewable energy or environmentalism without scoffing at it?

When was the last time you heard a news report arguing that the sherman anti-trust law should be reinstated?

And the war! The TV news networks recently got busted trotting out retired pro-war generals hand selected by the pentagon as commentators to drum up support for the war.

    Media is NOT liberal, sorry.

Media's agenda is entirely pro-big business.

Or another example, who's offensive comments got more airtime? Rev. Wright or the hate mongerers Hagee and Parsley.

I don't believe any news organization anymore. If I had to choose one to listen to, it would be Fox. The media pushes their own agenda. I thought that journalism is about stating the facts. What is wrong with being honest?

Isn't it true that the researchers behind this so-called 'study' received funding from the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI), The Heritage Foundation, and the Hoover Institution (All Right Wing Think Tanks)?
