Is it true that illegal aliens kill more Americans than the Iraq war? (This is for A school project)?

yeah, absolutely, they kill people all the time, I work as a paramedic, I had a pick-up truck with two illegals in it that were drunk as hell and ran a stop sign killing 3 generations of a family. grandmother and grandfather, their daughter her husband and one of her children. that is one accident. out of many that I have seen. I know of atleast 20 people that have been killed by illegals in my local community over the past couple years.

Do I agree with a statistic? That's a very silly question. My answer is "no", I don't believe that illegal aliens are killing exactly 12 Americans a day. The fact is that we all came from other countries originally, unless you are a Native American, and who are we to put laws on who else can come and prosper here? The funny thing is that an awful lot of these Republican anti-immigration nutjobs are professing to be Christians, and what could be more rightious than telling people to stay in thier own impoverished country, suffer, and die so that we can have a bit more elbow room. If you are seriously concerned that illegals are killing more of these "rightful" Americans than this pointless and greed fueled war why don't you recommend something intelligent, like stopping the war and spending the billions of dollars that end up in Haliburtons pockets on fixing our poverty situation by creating jobs and funding programs for whoever wants to be a productive part of our society.

The Corporations have more power to keep our borders open because we have a corporate sponsored President dedicated to their cause.There are millions of illegals here;of course some of them commit crimes,probably in greater proportion than do legal Americans.Crime-wise,my concern is with their numerous offspring who show a far greater propensity to form violent gangs than do other groups.This can only worsen as our society becomes increasingly more high tech.We need to attract more people who value education since many of the menial tasks that Mexicans now perform will become increasingly mechanized.Some if not many will do well but there will be many who will fall behind and become involved in criminal activities-much more so than the general population,I fear.

Why not? If I knew I could break the law with impunity, and all I had to do was drive a couple of hours and have a government protect me from whatever crimes I committed, sure! These numbers will continue to grow until we do two things:

1. Stop the influx of criminals (and before you bleeding hearts out there say ANYTHING, by coming here illegally, you fall under the criminal category).

2. Shove our collective boots up the *** of any illegals still here, and show them we're tired of supporting another nation's crappy economy.

I don't doubt these numbers. In Chicago Democrats murder about the same number of people that are killed by enemy action in Iraq over the past 6 years.

Chicago Democrats murdered about 1,000 people a year several times in the recent past.

This should be common information, but the media will attempt to cover it up.

Not sure but why not 12 million illegals bound to be a few thousand murders in the bunch. Still more Americans killed by other citizens but 4,000 probably low balling it in regards to those killed by illegals.
