psychology health question nurse doctors new parent opinion would help?
I woke up this morning in tears unable to stop crying,this has never happend before,my chestt felt all tight and was unable to fall asleep.Usually I sleep 5 h a night I have a healthy life style dont drink or smoke.I have been edge and the only changes that have been is a new baby which is very positive what can this be.

It sounds like you may have had an anxiety attack...
Post partum depression is another possibility and it can rear its head with many symptoms- including increased anxiety. My suggestion would be to contact your doctor/midwife as they should be well equipped to point you in the right direction to not only figure out what's going on, but to get treatment before it gets any worse. Sometimes temporary use of medication may be necessary- or just seeing someone that you can vent to about all of the new stressors you're facing as a new mom. Good luck and God bless!

Your hormones are still messed up, your sleep schedule is probably still in flux, you have new worries with the baby, I don't know if you have a partner to help you - but issues with your partner can play in or issues with lack of support if you don't have one around to help...
I don't believe we get back to normal until the kids are well out of the house and secure in their adult lives.
