Mine didn't bleed any except the first day or two so I would go back to the piercer & let them look at it.

I have had mine pierced for 7 years. Not encountered a problem as such with my navel, though I have my conch pierced (ear cartilage piercing) and although I have had it for about 9 months it's still sore and painful and occasionally bleeds. I have many piercings and I would say to me what you need to do is clean it in saline solution (1/4 a teaspoon of salt/salt rocks in a mug of warm water) twice a day. Don't wear clothes that will catch or restrict it, I think the blood is from the unhealed hole ripping ever so slightly due to tugging? If after a week it isn't getting better bathe the piercing in a mug of saline solution (lean forward onto the rim of the mug, leaning back until the piercing is bathed in the solution). Do that once a day for a minute or so. Also think about allergic reactions to the metal? Titanium is the best metal to use, it's pretty much allergy-free as such. Make sure the bar is over sized still. Until it's painless and clean you should have a longer bar in for swelling etc. Hope this helps?!

I got mine last month and it bleeds a lot. It's just because I accidentally hit it and pull on it sometimes. I wouldn't take it out just yet. Just stick in there, when it heals I'm sure it's going to look amazing.

When you get piercings on your body other than the usual ears or nose, then it is common for it to puss. But bleeding, could be from tugging on it perhaps when sleeping or constant irritation. Make sure its clean so it does not become infected.

it might be rejecting.go back to the piercer and have them take a look.i would just go ahead and take it out.it can take up to a full year for them to heal, but i dont think that it should still be bleeding even if it is only sometimes, that is what makes me think that it is rejecting.
