Internet Explorer or Fire fox?

Yes I would definitely say firefox is much better all round! Although I wouldn't recommend that you un-install IE as it might do harm to your PC! Hope it helps.. :-)

Edit~ Internet explorer is an extension of windows explorer and part of the windows operating system that makes windows function, as it does. Microsoft has made it difficult to remove internet explorer without causing major problems to your OS. I think your making the right decision by just leaving IE alone, delete the shortcuts etc, windows does not like IE not to be there especially for updates etc. :-)

I've just downloaded and tried Firefox 3.0. The colours and fonts of web pages don't seem as solid as IE. Besides, when I tried to import my favorites from IE it only imported some and not all. Maybe there is a limit or something. It does however feels snappier. Firefox is highly regarded but I think I'll stick with IE as I'm used to it.

Leave IE, firefox is much faster , secure & much reliable.

For bringing IE changes to Firefox -

Under the File Menu -

Click on Import

Import Wizard Dialog will open -

Just follow the rest.

I have recently switched to firefox, best thing ive ever done. Pages seem to load faster, i LOVE the addons you can get for it, and it freezes less.

You do not need to "delete" IE, simply open firefox, click Tools, Options, go to the Main tab, and make sure firefox is set as your default browser.

i use firefox as recommended by many of my friends who are experts in computer. according to them, it is better and safer and i am contented with it so far. i have been active online for more than 5 years now and from my experience, it is really safe and good...and faster i think.

there are also some times when i use the internet explorer like when i want to scan my computer for viruses, malwares, adwares, trojans, etc. online. they all use IE because of the direct x thingy. i also use IE for yahoo radio and games and some other online stuff which requires IE.

Well if you install Firefox your stuff should get transfered and to remove IE go to control panel and click add and remove programs if your using a PC.

I prefer firefox than IE coz it's easy to block unwanted pop-ups and I feel more secure while surfing the net because of it's security features.

The latest version is internet explore 8 beta but like internet explore 7 itself. Firefox is also good if you are not using a windows OS.

Firefox seems to apply slightly greater ram. And on my laptop lots up slightly slower. After that that's all exciting and video games. Firefox is a lot greater constructive. this technique would load slightly slower, however the internet pages load swifter, and seem to load greater easily as quickly because it gets booted up. now and lower back text cloth takes constantly to render on IE. firefox is way better. it loads fast! i really like it because when the computer was turned off or wasn't shut down, it has a memory that can restore the last page you visited.
