McFadden in 2008....?

What can we expect? The Raiders were 6th in the NFL in rushing last year. 3 different players had 100 yard games. Are we thinking an Adrian Peterson type season, or less....or more? Your thoughts?

Maybe 1,000 combined yards and 7-8 touchdowns. Their backfield is crowded but his big-play ability will help him rack up some good numbers.

I believe he will put up #'s similar to this

    1200 yards rushing

    400 yards receiving

    10-12 total touchdowns

This is taking into consideration that he stays healthy and the Raiders made enough off season moves to help out the O. The addition of J Walker should help out in the passing game which will have a trickle down affect on the run game

I forgot Fargas is still there. I would bring those above #'s down to 800 rush yards 200 rec.yards and maybe 8 total td's

If you're approaching this from a Fantasy perspective, DMac is not going to have a great year. Oakland is in full RB-by-committee mode, and he'll be lucky to get 700 or so yards this season running the ball. You might see him take some swing passes or checkdowns out of the backfield, but I wouldn't count on him to have an AP-type season. That was the perfect storm, so to speak, for AP last year: great line, great FB, crappy QB.

Probably not as good as Adrian Peterson.

He might get up to around 750-1000 yards and make a few touchdowns along the way. He might have a slow start because hes just starting NFL. So you can really never know.

I think you have a stable full of backs so anything more than 750-900 yards is asking a lot, possibly another 200-250 in receiving yards.

Then again, you don't want him getting 30 carries a game behind that "line" this season.

well dominic Rhodes is back with the colts and Justin Fargas will be the man so no not a adrian peterson story wit this guy but maybe a good backup i wouldnt be scared if Fargas got injured thats all im saying

dont expect his college numbers from him. he has to get use to not playin for decent players to amazing players in the NFL so look for him to stir things up but thats about it.

I wouldn't say less or more, but I think they'll be about neck and neck. D-Mac is going to be a force. Go Hogs!!!!

Mcfadden will do something spectacular his rookie season, no doubt.
