Should I vote for McCain, choose a write-in candidate, or just leave it blank for president?
The local races here are still interesting, so staying home is not an option.

The electoral college only tallies States. What State are you in?
You could conclude that either way it doesn't matter. If you're in a red state, he will win that state anyway - one more popular vote won't matter. If you're in a blue State, what would it matter then anyway?
I say write-in somebody. You'll make their day when they see that they got one more popular vote than they would of had. This is good for several reasons: you'll help the underdog, make someone smile who will really appreciate it, and will give credence to the other parties in the US.

McCain and Clinton are both Moderates and actually have plans on how to handle the problems facing the USofA.
Obama is far-left, a socialist, he actually has a poster of Che Guevara in at least one of his campaign offices and both the Socialist parties and Communist parties fully support Obama. Stats show that Obama is the *most* liberal Senator -- very far left. For example, he supports a global tax and has actually voted for it. He wants us to pay .7% of our Gross National Product and give it to a global agancy for them to distribute as they see fit.
I'm all for helping the poor, but I do think we need to shore up our own ailing nation and help others by 1) becoming more fiscally fit ourselves, and 2) Then teaching others how to do the same -- not just handing over our money.

Write in "None of the Above" like in Brewster's Millions.
I'm not sure the parties would care, but if ten percent or more of the country were casting protest votes, either for third parties or for write ins, then maybe someone will take notice and try to pander to the 'disillusioned' vote, or do something about the two party system.

Leave it blank. Vote for the other races that interest you. Logic dictates that a vote for the lesser of two evils is, nevertheless, a vote for evil.

Just leave it black. If you don't care, neither do I.
In fact, there is a good chance I will leave it blank too.
